Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name Tems, is a prominent Nigerian singer and songwriter who has been nominated for the 2021 BET Awards
Tems was nominated in the category “Best New International Act,” which was intended to recognize breakthrough talent and emerging voices from throughout the world.
She was nominated alongside South African R&B artist Elaine, as well as British rappers and vocalists Arnold Parks and Bree Runway.
