Super Eagles uses ‘voodoo’ to play matches [Libya coach claims]

Libya coach Adel Amrouche has accused the Super Eagles players of using voodoo ahead of the upcoming the 2019 AFCON qualifiers next month.

Amrouche’s side played out a goalless draw against South Africa in their second group game of the qualification series as they top Group E.

Libya have four points from two matches, same as South Africa but with a better goal difference while Nigeria are third with three points.

In his press conference after the encounter,

Amrouche revealed his admiration for his opponents and stated that they are tougher than the Super Eagles.

In a viral video clip on social media, the Libyan coach claimed that the Bafana Bafana have better players than Nigeria ahead of their upcoming clash in October.

He said, “Believe me, i prefer to play Nigeria than Bafana Bafana because i have this experience to play against Nigeria.

“For me, Bafana they have fantastic players and its not easy to play Bafana Bafana,”

Amrouche also accused the Nigerian players of using witchcraft.

In a post-match conference after their match with South Africa,

Admrouche said, “I am ready for Nigeria, if they want to play two times in Nigeria, we play two times in Nigeria.

“They believe on juju too much, and we believe on God.

It’s not easy to play in South Africa.”
