Remember The Boy Who Featured In Terminator 1? See How He Has Ruined His Career 36yrs Later

The iconic Terminator sequels that first reached our silver screens 36 years ago were watched by every film fanatic

Terminator movie made its premiere on 26 October 1984, opened at 1,005 theaters on its opening week, and grossed $4.0 million to make it number one in the box office.

It story speaks of a cyborg assassin sent back in time to kill Sarah, a waitress, in a attempt to avoid her son who is going to fight a long war against his adversary in the future unless the course of history is changed.

The little boy who played Sarah’s son, John Connor- real name Edward Furlong is now a pale self-shadow.

He’s been tipped to become a potential star, but now he’s dealing with drugs, alcohol, violence, prison, and underage s3x rumors that have ruined his chances.

In a new documentary on how he landed the famous role as a 13-year-old child in 2017,

He said:

‘Second audition, not so good. [James Cameron] said to me, like, I didn’t do that well… She (Finn) came to my house and said, ‘Jim almost wrote you off the list, but you’re going to get another chance.’

So I took it very seriously so I just walked b-s to the wall. Tom, since my last interview, he’s been like,

‘Don’t tell anybody this, but you got the movie’ — and that was awesome.’

He had problems with the law after being convicted on several occasions in which he wanted to find drug relief, which destroyed him as well.

His career, in a nutshell, has suffered a huge setback and never achieved the high standards that we wished for him.

It’s not all bad for him because he’s still working and his last high-profile film, along with Billy Zane, Theresa Russell and George Lazenby, was the movie Winter Rose.
