A man accused of raping a three-month-old baby in Adogi, Nasarawa State has been arrested by Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps.
The NSCDC announced on Tuesday, that the suspect has been arrested. The incident occurred on 27 May 2020.
She left her door opened, Maimuna says, and windows were opened due to the intense heat when she suddenly woke up and was unable to find her daughter next to her.

The whole area went out in search of the baby after she raised an alarm, and was later found raped and abandoned in a classroom.
Speaking with Daily Trust, Maimuna said, “Everywhere across her private part was blood and then we rushed her to the hospital.”
The baby was hospitalized at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), where four operations have been carried out so far.
