Islamic school teacher nabbed in Kano state for turning students to sex machines

The 35-year-old Kano School teacher has been arrested for turning students to Sex Machines

Identified as Ibrahim Mohammed is believed to be teacher in an undisclosed school in Kano State who has been nabbed by the law in connection to his sexual activities with some of his students as he also planned to sell them.

Ibrahim’s nightmare came to limelight when news of his mischievous activities got to the ears of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

“We, on the 25th August, received an information that one Ibrahim Mohammed was having unlawful canal knowledge of his two under-aged students (Almajiris) seven to nine-years-old at Unguwar Kadawa, Kwanar Dillalai Quarters Kano,” NAPTIP Zonal Commander, Shehu Umar said.

“We swung into action immediately after we got information and we arrested the suspect while the two victims were rescued.

“The victims will also be united with their parents.

“The suspect is married and has been an Islamic teacher for the past seven years.

“Investigation is ongoing and when completed, the suspect would be charged to court.

“Similarly, NAPTIP Joint Board Task Force (JBTF) received intelligence information on the movement of victims and human trafficking suspect.

“Upon receiving information, the command carried out operation on August 23rd, raided New Paradise Hotel in Sabon Gari Kano.

“This led to the arrest of the suspect, one is at large but we rescued the six victims,” he added.

“The victims were lodged at the said hotel, from where they will be moved to Libya for greener pasture.

“The victims are from Ogun, Oyo, Imo and Abia States.

“The offence, external trafficking, is contrary to section 15(b) of NAPTIP Act,” Umar however said.
