Oct 6 is officially Wizkid’s Day declared in US
In 2018, the Governor of Minnesota in the United states named the 6th of October “Wizkid’s Day” in honour of the living legend.
No doubt, Wizkid is one of the Nigerian Artistes that opened way for other Nigerian/African music Artistes internationally.

What lead to the Wizkid’s Day Declaration
On this day in the United States, Nigerian music star, Wizkid made history of becoming the first African to sell out Sky center in Minnesota, USA.
The Governor “Mark Dayton” however declared it an official day to celebrate Wizkid, in other words “Wizkid Day” .
Meanwhile, in May 2018, Wizkid made history as the first Nigerian to sell out Legendary 02 Venue in London, England.

However, in june of this same year 2018, Wizkid became the first African music Artist to grace the runway for international fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana.
