Mercy Eke, also known as Mercy Lambo, the winner of Big Brother Naija 2019, has been dragged to social media frontals for apparently lying at the meeting on her supposed Hennessy-Moet deal.
It all began last year when Mercy shared pictures of her signing a “deal” with the brand.
The brand, however, announced that she was not qualified to be an ambassador and that they had yet to sign agreements for the year.
Ebuka agreed yesterday at the meeting to ask her if the offer was real or camouflage. Mercy replied that she had been paid the contract already, and they had yet to sign it until the brouhaha began. She added that she’s planning to refund Moet’s money. An answer many people interpreted on social media as being lies, claiming that a brand like Moet is not that disorganized.
